Basic Animal First Aid & CPR
Heather Grady has successfully completed a course in Basic Animal First Aid and CPR. This essential training equips her with the skills needed to respond to emergencies, ensuring the utmost care and safety for your pets.
The business is not set up to board dogs overnight or extended stays, however, we understand emergencies happen. An additional $20 fee will be charged for pickups 30 minutes after the close of business. If prior arrangements are made for late pickup, fees will be discussed with the customer in advance.
Yes, however, there will be an upcharge as it will take longer to apply by hand versus the 4 in 1 chemical dispensing system utilized by the business.
Yes, this needs to be discussed verbally with the groomer when making the appointment. Only oral medication can be administered.
The Business has a Memorandum of Agreement with our local veterinarian for your pet to be seen in these situations. You will be contacted immediately prior to transporting your pet to the veterinarian. Your approval will be required unless it’s deemed a Life-or-Death situation.
I have a certification in dog CPR and graduated from the Oklahoma Academy of Dog Grooming Arts in January 2015. I have over 20 years of dog grooming experience with my own dogs to include a Professional setting.
I will calm the dog down by taking breaks between tasks and talking to them softly to comfort them. I usually use the back side of the clippers to massage along the body without clipping anything so they gain comfort knowing the sound and vibration will not hurt them.
